During the second quarter of 2026, the Yashchenko Foundation continued delivering essential medical assistance to healthcare facilities and vulnerable communities across Ukraine.
Between April and June, the Foundation distributed 11,320 kg of pharmaceuticals and other critical medical supplies, valued at more than £6.7 million. Assistance reached hospitals, primary healthcare centres, oncology and paediatric facilities, and humanitarian partners across 21 oblasts, with particular attention given to frontline and border regions.
The quarter also marked the conclusion and review of the latest phase of the Walking Blood Bank project. Implemented across 13 oblasts, the programme conducted 190,500 blood-type determinations and generated 18,636 new donor registrations on the DonorUA platform, helping strengthen Ukraine’s local emergency donor networks.
Across its activities, the Foundation supported 64 communities during the reporting period. These results were made possible by the continued commitment of our staff, volunteers, medical partners and donors in Ukraine and internationally.
