The Yashchenko Foundation is seeking dedicated individuals to support humanitarian efforts in their local communities. Volunteers play a crucial role in ensuring aid reaches those who need it most by distributing essential supplies, assessing local needs, and representing the Foundation within their communities.
We are looking for committed volunteers in the following regions:
📍 Khersonska, Mykolaivska, Dnipropetrovska, Zaporizhska, Donetska, Kharkivska, Sumska, and Chernihivska Oblasts.
What Volunteers Do
As a volunteer with the Yashchenko Foundation, you will help strengthen our response and improve the delivery of humanitarian assistance. Key responsibilities include:
- Humanitarian Aid Distribution – Ensuring relief items, including food, medical supplies, and essential goods, reach vulnerable individuals and families.
- Needs Assessments – Gathering information on local conditions and identifying urgent humanitarian needs to help shape our response.
- Community Representation – Acting as a trusted point of contact for the Foundation, facilitating communication between local populations and our operations team.
- Programme Implementation – Assisting with the implementation of YF Programmes in your community.
Who We Are Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals who:
✅ Are based in one of the eight priority oblasts.
✅ Are committed to supporting their community and improving local humanitarian response.
✅ Have strong organisational and communication skills.
✅ Are reliable, proactive, and able to work independently.
✅ Have knowledge of local needs and challenges affecting vulnerable populations.
Previous experience in humanitarian aid, logistics, or community engagement is beneficial but not required.
