
Toby Illingworth
Head of Mission
Toby Illingworth is the Founder, Executive Director and Head of Mission Ukraine for Yashchenko Foundation, based in Kyiv. Before establishing the Foundation, he served as Head of Mission for a UK NGO delivering humanitarian aid and civilian evacuations in Ukraine since March 2022.
Toby’s earlier work included founding a think tank in Bosnia & Herzegovina, focusing on post-conflict resolution and economic development. With a background in policy and government relations, he also served as Executive Director of a financial services think tank in London, Paris and Singapore and managed a trade consultancy specialising in emerging markets. Toby was an elected District Councillor in the UK for eight years, where he held the role of Deputy Chairman of Audit and Governance as well as being a Director of a property development company.

Bohdana Ivantsova
Deputy Head of Mission
Bohdana Ivantsova is a dedicated and results-driven professional with over 10 years of experience in project management, administration, and nonprofit leadership. She currently oversees strategic initiatives, fundraising efforts, and humanitarian programs at the Yashchenko Foundation across Ukraine, ensuring impactful support for vulnerable communities.
Before joining the Yashchenko Foundation team, Bohdana worked in the humanitarian sector, managing administrative operations, donor relations, and compliance for international aid projects. Her diverse background also includes experience in education, international sales, and HR, equipping her with strong skills in team coordination, stakeholder engagement, and organizational development.
Fluent in English and Ukrainian, Bohdana excels in communication, problem-solving, and strategic planning. Passionate about social impact, she has been actively volunteering in youth programs, focusing on education and community development.
With a strong commitment to humanitarian work, she continues to lead life-saving aid initiatives, helping communities build resilience in times of crisis.

Bisma Fazeen
Head of Program Impact & Strategic Partnerships
Bisma is a seasoned humanitarian and development professional with over nine years of global experience designing and leading programs in high-risk and conflict-affected settings across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia. She has a proven record of forging and managing strategic partnerships with institutional donors, UN agencies, local organizations, and government stakeholders to expand funding opportunities and enhance program impact.
Throughout her career, Bisma has led the development and implementation of high-value, multi-sectoral portfolios—ranging from disaster response to long-term development initiatives in health, nutrition, protection, education, and local capacity strengthening. Her strategic leadership has resulted in enhanced operational capacity for international and local NGOs, more efficient reporting systems, and improved responsiveness to community needs.
Adept at aligning programs with evolving donor priorities and global humanitarian standards, Bisma has directly contributed to securing critical funding from large institutional donors such as USAID, UNOCHA, and WFP. She is experienced in developing strategic frameworks that drive program quality and sustainability, with a focus on locally led solutions, inclusive development, and evidence-based impact.
Bisma holds a Master’s degree in Development Management from the London School of Economics and a Bachelor’s in Global Affairs from George Mason University. Her passion lies in driving needs-based, scalable impact through cross-sector collaboration and innovative, program design.

Nataliia Vyshnivska
Head of Operations
Nataliia Vyshnivska holds a Diploma in Management and an MBA from Kyiv-Mohyla Business School. As a CFO, she has over 15 years of experience in finance, HR, and legal roles within commercial organizations. She has been holding finance leadership positions in the humanitarian sector since 2022. Thus, she brings a wealth of financial strategy, risk management, and organizational leadership expertise.
Her deep understanding of financial accounting, local tax, labor, and business laws is complemented by extensive experience in contract management, negotiations, and strategic decision-making. A strong and decisive leader, Nataliia thrives under pressure, making critical decisions with confidence and accountability. Her ability to manage global corporate funds and lead cross-functional teams ensures alignment between financial strategies and organizational objectives.
In response to the challenges of the full-scale invasion of Ukraine in 2022, Nataliia stepped into humanitarian work, joining thousands of volunteers assisting those displaced by war. In the early days of the crisis, she took swift action, leveraging her skills to provide temporary housing, essential supplies, and transportation for those fleeing hostilities. Her ability to adapt and lead in complex, high-stakes situations has further strengthened her impact across corporate and humanitarian sectors.

Dr. Innessa Shevchenko
Medical Director
Innessa is an Obstetrician-gynaecologist of the highest category with more than 30 years of experience and a public activist. She holds a master’s degree in public administration in healthcare from the Dnipro Regional Institute of Public Administration of the National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine.
She regularly takes courses on advanced training and the latest methodologies used in medical practice. As a healthcare professional and a public activist, she constantly cooperates with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the specialised committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on reforming the healthcare system of Ukraine. She has repeatedly participated in parliamentary hearings on healthcare and assistance to ATO participants and veterans. Innessa is actively involved in volunteering and joined the YF team in September 2024.

Olha Kondratenko
Walking Blood Bank Programme Manager
Olha Kondratenko is a healthcare and humanitarian professional with a
medical background and a strong focus on mobile health delivery, health
promotion, and emergency response. With extensive field experience in
eastern and southern Ukraine, she has worked with organizations such as
Médecins Sans Frontières, FHI 360, and the Luxembourg Red Cross,
managing medical teams and overseeing the implementation of relief
programs under high-pressure conditions.
Holding degrees in Health Care, Internal Medicine, and Public
Management, Olha combines clinical expertise with project management
skills, including grant writing, procurement, monitoring, and data analysis
using tools like Power BI and Kobo. She is particularly skilled in
coordinating cross-sector health initiatives and has secured significant
funding to support critical interventions in conflict-affected areas.
Olha is deeply committed to strengthening frontline healthcare systems and
improving access for vulnerable populations. Her collaborative approach,
strategic mindset, and on-the-ground insight make her a valuable
contributor to both operational and policy-level health programming.

Roman-Rami Saad
Logistic Manager
Roman-Rami Saad is a specialist in humanitarian logistics and project management with several years of experience in international organizations, including the United Nations World Food Programme. He brings expertise in warehouse operations, strategic planning, partner coordination, and emergency response. Known for his adaptability, analytical mindset, and responsibility, Roman consistently seeks optimal solutions in dynamic and high-pressure environments.
Driven by a deep thirst for knowledge, he holds a master’s degree in biomedical engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD in Management. He believes that meaningful change begins with proactive individuals who are ready to take initiative and lead.
Outside of work, Roman enjoys playing squash, chess, hiking in the mountains, and rafting — activities that recharge his energy and inspire him to meet new professional challenges.

Hanna Kitsenko
Admin & HR Coordinator
Hanna Kitsenko is a dedicated professional with a rich background in human resources and people management. Previously, she had experience working with an international NGO, where she coordinated HR operations for a team of 180 employees within the Ukrainian mission. Hanna’s experience covers every aspect of HR work – recruitment, onboarding, contracting, performance evaluation, conflict management and more. Her background in accounting helps her bring a structured, analytical perspective to HR processes, while her degree in psychology enables her to understand human interactions and foster a healthy work environment.
She is deeply passionate about working in the humanitarian sector and is a committed advocate for supporting the people of Ukraine through the challenges of wartime. Hanna is known for her strong soft skills – active listening, empathy, communication, and conflict management – as well as her hard skills in HR policy development, workforce planning, HRIS management, compliance, and data reporting. An inspired and enthusiastic professional, Hanna believes that people are the heart of every organization and is dedicated to building a supportive, motivating workplace where every team member can thrive.

Inna Krasutska
Partnership & Aid Coordinator
Inna holds a medical degree and the highest qualification category in healthcare organisation and management. The majority of her medical career was dedicated to military service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the State Emergency Service, where she served as Head of Medical Services.
Following her discharge from service, she worked in the field of international transport and logistics. In 2022, she became a co-founder of a charitable foundation.
She has extensive experience in medical support and procurement, as well as in commercial and humanitarian transportation across Ukraine and via international logistics routes. She has worked in the humanitarian sector with international humanitarian missions, focusing on logistics, and has participated in intergovernmental humanitarian energy projects.
She possesses strong leadership skills and excels at organising and setting up processes from scratch.

Rostyslav Bakhur
Warehouse Coordinator
Rostyslav joined the humanitarian aid sector after the destruction of the dam in Khersonska Region, starting his work as a driver. Thanks to his responsibility and strong organizational skills, he advanced to the role of warehouse coordinator, ensuring the efficient operation of logistics processes and the control of aid distribution.
He has experience in logistics, transportation, and internet network installation. Rostyslav possesses strong planning, communication, and resource management skills.
He graduated from the MCTPTHMD in Lviv and is currently studying at NLTU of Ukraine. He speaks Ukrainian, English, and Polish. Rostyslav is motivated by a sincere desire to help the citizens of his country and to contribute to the common cause of supporting Ukraine.

Vadym Mesura
Senior Logistics Officer
Vadym is an experienced logistics and procurement specialist with a strong background in international humanitarian and development projects. He has successfully managed cross-functional logistics teams, procurement processes, fleet and warehouse operations, and donor compliance for major international organizations, including ACTED, FAO (UN), MSF, and DAI Global.
His expertise covers high-value procurement, asset management, operational coordination across multiple regions, and building efficient internal systems aligned with USAID, FCDO, ECHO and BHA standards. Vadym combines strategic planning with hands-on field experience, which enables him to effectively support programme delivery and operational continuity.
Vadym is deeply committed to strengthening humanitarian response systems and ensuring that assistance reaches people efficiently and on time. His work is driven by responsibility, transparency, and the belief that strong logistics is the foundation of any effective humanitarian mission.

Kristina Zadorozhna
Senior MEAL Officer
Kristina is a highly qualified professional with extensive experience in international humanitarian organizations. She holds a strong legal background, which enables her to ensure precision, compliance, and transparency in program implementation.
Her expertise covers data collection, analysis, and interpretation, as well as project performance monitoring and the development of tools to measure impact and quality.
Kristina has substantial experience in donor and partner coordination, managing field assessments, maintaining accurate reporting, and enhancing internal processes through data-driven insights. Her professional approach is marked by attention to detail, analytical thinking, and a constant drive to improve monitoring systems and learning mechanisms.
Kristina is known for her structured mindset, teamwork, and adaptability, bringing both analytical precision and empathy to her work. Her professionalism and integrity contribute significantly to strengthening the Foundation’s monitoring and evaluation systems.

Alisa Tsypko
WBB Coordinator Mykolaiv
Alisa began her professional journey at the start of the full-scale invasion, stepping into the humanitarian sector at a time when flexibility, courage, and rapid response were critically needed. Since then, she has become a highly capable specialist with a deep understanding of the realities faced by conflict-affected communities. Throughout her humanitarian work, Alisa has worked with with well-known international and national humanitarian organizations such as Mercy Corps, Save the Children, NGO “Poruch,” and IOM (UN Migration Agency). This background has equipped her with a broad perspective on field coordination, beneficiary engagement, and high-quality program implementation.
Her working style is characterized by exceptional attention to detail, discipline, and the ability to deliver results efficiently. Her interest in philosophy and psychology enriches her approach to communication and helps her navigate complex human interactions in challenging environments.
In addition to her professional activities, Alisa is a creative personality — a musical performer and athlete. This unique combination of artistry, physical resilience, and mental strength makes her a strong and inspiring team leader.

Olha Ravchak

Olha is an experienced coordinator with extensive expertise in managing humanitarian projects, community engagement, and partnership development. She effectively combines strategic planning, analytical thinking, and empathy, enabling her to lead teams and organize processes even in challenging environments. Olha has a deep understanding of social work, community needs assessment, and beneficiary communication. In her professional activities, she places strong emphasis on quality, transparency, and a human-centered approach.
Cooperation with numerous charitable organisations as well as her background in project and team management, have shaped her into a leader who inspires colleagues and builds trust-based partnerships. Olha possesses solid skills in crisis response, logistics coordination, and staff management. Her approach is grounded in professionalism, compassion, and a sincere commitment to saving lives.

Viktoria Sikora
WBB Program Officer
Viktoria is an experienced specialist in social and psychological fields who has been actively working with internally displaced persons and socially vulnerable groups for four years. With a background in education, psychology and ecology, Viktoria successfully combines her knowledge of psychology, pedagogy, and ecology in her professional activities.
While working in charitable and public organizations — the Right to Protection Charitable Foundation, Terre des Hommes, and the Public Health Alliance NGO, Viktoria served as a social worker in mobile teams, provided psychological support and counseling to clients, and organized logistics processes related to the supply of materials and resources for field teams.
Her strengths include excellent communication skills and the ability to respond quickly to the needs of people in different regions. She confidently coordinates the work of teams, effectively organizes processes, and responsibly maintains reporting documentation, demonstrating consistency, accuracy, and a professional approach in every task.
