Moldova
providing MEdical assistance and basic needs to refugees & orphanages
Our mission in Moldova focuses on three areas:
- Medical Equipment for Hospitals
- Humanitarian Aid for Refugees
- Providing Assistance to Orphanages

Moldova is a small, landlocked country in Eastern Europe, bordered by Romania and Ukraine. Despite its rich cultural history, it faces significant economic challenges. As one of the poorest nations in Europe, Moldova struggles with a shrinking population, high unemployment, and dependence on remittances from citizens working abroad. The country’s fragile economy is further strained by the influx of refugees due to the war in Ukraine. Moldova’s healthcare system and social services are under considerable pressure, unable to meet the rising demands from both its population and refugees seeking asylum within its borders.
Medical Equipment for Hospitals
Moldova’s healthcare infrastructure is severely underfunded, leaving hospitals without the essential medical equipment necessary to provide adequate care. Our program delivers critical medical supplies and state-of-the-art equipment to hospitals across the country, ensuring that both Moldovan citizens and refugees receive the treatment they need. With a focus on supplying diagnostic tools, surgical equipment, and cold-chain storage solutions for medications, we aim to alleviate the strain on healthcare institutions and improve patient outcomes.
Humanitarian Aid for Refugees
Since the onset of the war in Ukraine, Moldova has been a refuge for thousands of displaced individuals. Our team is actively involved in distributing humanitarian aid, including food, clothing, and hygiene products to refugee camps and temporary shelters across the country. By working in coordination with local authorities and international partners, we ensure that the most vulnerable populations have access to basic needs while they navigate the complex process of seeking asylum.
Providing Assistance to Orphanages
The economic struggles in Moldova have led to an increase in children placed in orphanages, particularly as many parents migrate abroad in search of work. The orphanages are often under-resourced, lacking sufficient staff and materials to provide proper care. Our support program focuses on delivering essential goods, from educational supplies to clothing and medical care. We also work to establish long-term partnerships with orphanages to improve the quality of life and future opportunities for these children.
